From evening to morning

The action of Leida Laius's short film takes place in a small Estonian town occupied by the Germans during the Second World War, at a time when providing aid to Russian soldiers was punishable by death. A young housewife finds a Red Army soldier who escaped from a German prison camp in the hay in the barn. A frightened woman shows true manliness to behave humanely in an extreme situation.
