THE OUTSTANDING PREMIERE OF OTT TÄNAK - THE MOVIE

On April 19th 2019, the formal 'invitation- only' premiere of Ott Tänak - The Movie took place at the Cinamon Kosmos Imax cinema. It was the first time such a spectacular movie premiere had been organised in Estonia. The production company Sterotek Film won two first prizes at Estonia's most prominent marketing and communication award ceremony Golden Egg (Kuldmuna). One award for the communication of the movie and the second for the outstanding premiere as the best promotional event of the year. This is a video of this massive event.

The premiere crossed borders: it was hosted by the legendary rally commentator Becs Williams from the United Kingdom along with autosport specialist Margus Kiiver from Estonia. There were many guests from the world's rallying elite.

Ott Tänak and his co-driver Martin Järveoja drove their Toyota Yaris WRC to the premiere. The police escorted the rally car, masses of people had come to the streets to cheer Ott and Martin on their way. Their drive along the roads was broadcast on the cinema screen and also online media channels and on social media. There was outside broadcasting (OB) bus, ten camera units, a drone and a helicopter capturing the event.
