Eastern Europe, the new century. The dog-eat-dog laws and dog-eat-dog appetite rule. Yet, there are still a few people left looking for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil - perhaps for designing quality office furniture out of it. Tõnu has reached his mid-life years, finding himself in the darkening forest once described by Dante. His moderately prosperous and peaceful life is being shadowed by an unusual moral issue whether it is possible to be a good human being. What does it mean to be a good human being, both for himself and in general? On his journey towards clearer conscience while living an increasingly complicated reality, Tony meets several archetypes familiar from contemporary Estonian society and experiences adventures full of excitement and black humor. It seems that slowly, and quite inevitably, the man loses his job, his family, and finally himself as well.
