A human was born

Coming into this world is an important event in a person's life, perhaps the most important. Purely and sincerely, the screen work captures the moments of birth, the authors create a great event out of them with a sense of piety and love. In the 70s, it was rare for filmmakers to be able to film in a maternity hospital. Director Leida Laius and cinematographer Arvo Iho succeeded. Even more, as if the footage filmed with a hidden camera is genuine, warm and humanly honest.
