Autumn

The film is the sequel to earlier films based on Luts's works "Spring" and "Summer". Two young seamstresses, Juuli and Maali arrive in Paunvere. What would be the best way for master tailor Kiir to get rid of his hated competitors? Clearly none other than a decisive penetration behind the enemy's front lines.

And so we get to witness Kiir's operation to take a wife, his two-timing and this king of needle and thread's strong desire to become a farm owner. At the same time we are sure to laugh along

Three films made over the years (1969, 1976,1990) with the same actors and following the progress of the same characters over years is a phenomenon without precedent in Estonian film. In this respect, the series can be compared to Francois Truffaut's films of Antoine Doinel with Jean Pierre Léaud in the lead role.
