Once a dandy moustache-wearing man of many words, Martin Roll has become a suffering, saggy mess- as described by his war friend Tõnis Upp. Martin is seriously disturbed by the state of things at home and at work in the box factory, but he does not do anything to change that. Instead, he dedicates himself to his collection of stamps. However, the bitter truth makes Martin bet on his biggest treasure - the Austrian WIPA issue stamp - with Tõnis. Martin wins if he can speak out and tell the truth for a whole day.
